For 2023, they’ve gone with ‘Wild Wonder™’, which you’d describe as a gentle muted green and Dulux say is “inspired by the natural world”.
Soft and warm enough for any room, but most specifically kitchens, bedrooms and home offices, it was chosen by them as they could see how its natural-like undercurrent would help people feel bonded to the outdoors in their homes.
Quirky-shaped rugs
One quick fix when you want to swiftly change the look of a space is to add a new floor covering to it i.e. rug.
This year’s trend with rugs will be to move away from your usual square, rectangular and circular rugs and go for the more unconventional curved, geometric and angular rug designs.
Laid out in the middle of a conservatory design or living room floor, this type of rug will be a big point of interest to guests.
Social spaces to make a comeback
Covid impacted our lives in many ways and one of the toughest parts of it was being unable to invite lots of people into our homes.
That’s no longer a problem and householders will be taking full advantage by hosting lots of big home gatherings in a suitable social setting.
